Terms and Conditions of Wild Amazonas
1. Legal Identity
Wild Amazonas is a trade name of Wild Amazonas, a company legally registered in the UK. Wild Amazonas operates solely as a commercial agent for its partners, including Tour Wild Amazonas and NEY ECO Adventures. It serves as an intermediary between Travelers and Tour Operators.
Wild Amazonas does not operate the tours and accepts no responsibility for events or experiences during the tours offered by its partner Tour Operators. Wild Amazonas’s role is limited to providing a platform and marketing channel for the tours and managing bookings on behalf of the Tour Operators.
By booking a tour through Wild Amazonas, you acknowledge and agree that Wild Amazonas is not liable for any incidents, accidents, or experiences occurring during the tour.
2. Data Protection
Wild Amazonas is committed to protecting customer data. Personal information is never shared with third partiesexcept when necessary to complete a booking. Relevant customer details are only shared with the Tour Operatorhandling the booked tour.
3. Bookings
- All bookings are facilitated by Wild Amazonas on behalf of the Tour Operator.
- Travelers communicate directly with Wild Amazonas regarding inquiries and bookings.
- Wild Amazonas confirms tour availability with the relevant Tour Operator and informs the Traveler.
- A booking is confirmed when:
- The Tour Operator confirms availability, and
- The Traveler pays a 30% deposit to Wild Amazonas.
- After confirmation, the Traveler receives a booking confirmation email with details of the tour.
- Wild Amazonas then informs the Tour Operator of the Traveler’s confirmation and expected arrival.
4. Payments
- A 30% deposit is paid to Wild Amazonas to secure the booking.
- The remaining 70% must be paid on-site directly to the Tour Operator, unless a different arrangement is made.
Bank Fees:
Some banks may apply charges for international or currency conversion transactions. Wild Amazonas is not responsiblefor these charges. Please consult your bank for details.
5. Travel Arrangements
Travel to the tour’s starting point is the sole responsibility of the Traveler. Travelers are responsible for ensuring their travel documents (passport, visa, entrance fees, taxes) are valid and compliant with the laws of the destination country.
Wild Amazonas is not liable for denied entry due to missing or incorrect documentation.
6. Health & Insurance
Wild Amazonas bears no responsibility for health issues or incidents that arise before, during, or after the trip. Travelers must ensure they have valid health and travel insurance that covers them in the destination country (e.g., Brazil).
7. Cancellations & Refunds
- Full Refund: If canceled at least 14 days before the tour start date, the deposit is refundable, unless the Tour Operator has already made non-refundable prepayments (e.g., for accommodations).
- In such cases, the prepayment amount will be deducted from the deposit before refund.
- No Refund: If canceled within 14 days of the tour start date, the deposit is non-refundable.
8. Intellectual Property & Content Use
- All content on the Wild Amazonas website (images, text, videos, audio, etc.) is protected under Intellectual Property rights.
- The content is owned or licensed by Wild Amazonas. Use of this content requires prior written permission.
- Traveler Content: Any content (photos, videos, etc.) created by Travelers during the tour and shared with the Tour Operator may be used by Wild Amazonas for marketing purposes without attribution. Wild Amazonas reserves the right to use this content across its website and social media platforms.
